Sally Bennett joins Engage Executive Jobs as Executive Recruitment Director on 15th September 2014.
With a wealth of knowledge covering recruitment and HR management, Sally has over 12 years’ experience in recruitment, working in both agency and corporate organisations.
Sally’s career started in the hospitality industry working for Marriott Hotels, holding the position of National Account Director and working in partnership with key blue chip clients strategically managing the preferred supplier and procurement process on behalf of the UK Hotel Portfolio.
In 2003, Sally joined a specialist recruitment organisation as a Senior Account Director responsible for all levels of recruitment for nominated global and national clients.
After eight years within an agency, Sally’s ambition to join a successful, growing organisation to drive the recruitment process and strategy, led her to Farrow & Ball, renowned paints, wallpaper and interiors specialists.
Being keenly aware that people are key to the success of a business, and recruitment of the right people in a timely manner is essential, Sally’s role at Farrow and Ball saw her recruiting on a global basis for four years, which included direct campaigns and management of third party agency relationships.
After being promoted to Business Partner at Farrow and Ball, Sally obtained her CIPD and worked in partnership with different functions across the organisation, offering advice on additional areas of people management.
Sally commented: “I have learnt that culture fit is as important as skill set, but equally, as the war on talent grows, candidate management will be a priority to ensure a high level of engagement in the recruitment process.”
